the cheapest way to build a company

The things that build a company for success are free, but very few spend the right amount of time and energy on them. In this article I tell you what those building blocks are.

The game of organisational growth is made up of the same components, but the order and style in which you stack them, dictates the level to which you can reach 📈

There are foundational blocks;

🧱 Trust
🧱 Authority
🧱 Recognition

Without these at the core, it's very hard to create a thing of beauty like a Hong Kong skyscraper that can flex in the harsh winds, withstand earthquakes and changes inside regularly.

And you don't have to want to be a skyscraper, you may want a chocolate-box-creative-cottage-of-wonder for a business, and that's perfect too.

But again, if the foundations are not made with TAR (trust, authority and recogniton), the roof may fly away regularly and expose the insides to the outsides, when important things will get lost.

If you set the foundation blocks in stone, and check they are in good condition regularly, what you create can be stunning, for your customers, teams and communities.

Companies that are built on these foundations see results including;

  • 85% net profit growth over 5 years, and

  • 147% increase in earnings per share vs competitors

What style of building are you creating? And how do you check your foundations regularly?

There’s too much value at risk to not check in on your culture.
