stop stopping failure

What caused the move to not letting things fail? ❌

  1. White rosettes for 'trying' in school… trying is what we should do everyday and we shouldn’t get a prize for doing it.

  2. Bailouts in the economy … let companies fail, if they don't, market corrections won't happen and bigger problems happen later on (errrr, financial crisis 2008).

  3. Parents intervening to try and change school grades/friendship outcomes… your kid won't be able to keep up/keep their friends if they don’t realise they have to work harder/be a better friend

Failing is THE best thing as it makes you aware of the stuff you need to change.

If we don’t fail as kids and in our careers, we won't learn and build back better and bigger from those learnings.

I love a fail, it's horrid at the time, but it always comes good. I'm likely in one now; it's just sharing itself slowly. I don’t want a white rosette for it though, I just want a bigger win next time.

What fail are you in now?

How are you finding it?
